Online
UNTIL Saturday 19th June

Come along to this free talk by Dr Wolfgang Steinicke about William Herschel and his sister Caroline Herschel.
In 1781, while they lived at 19 New King Street, Bath, William discovered the planet Uranus - the seventh furthest planet from the sun. He made his own telescopes and was appointed "The Kings Astronomer" for his work.
Caroline also enjoyed her astronomy, starting off as being his note taker but also making her own observations of comets and other astronomical objects.
