After All is a celebration of our vulnerable and courageous existence.

Solène Weinachter melds dance, comedy, storytelling and theatre to ask: what happens in the end? 

Although death comes to all of us, talking about it is often a taboo that can leave people holding their grief in isolation. 

Through a series of impassioned re-enactments of the funerals of those she's loved - as well as imagining her own - Solène attempts to conjure a better sort of space for all of us to be with death, dying and loss.

After All is a heartfelt exploration of the different death rituals we have - the ones we've lost and those that need inventing - joyously bringing us together to explore the role that dancing might play in healing.

"The Solene Weinachter Performance on the 5th December 2024 at Buckland Newton Village Hall Dorset was to me a revelatory surprise. 

I had misgivings about an act on the subject of death but Solene treated this with candour, dark humour and sensitivity, making the experience a fulfilling and very positive one. Her attitude to death I will carry for the rest of my life. Her amazing dance ability, fluidity and grace was accompanied by minimal but extremely effective professional props and lighting.
