Trio Paradis: Daughters of the Muse

Trio Paradis (Jacquelyn Bevan - piano, Ruth O'Shea - violin & Linda Stocks - cello) play a Café Concert at St Thomas' Church on the first Monday of each month at 11am: informal music events with a pop-up café from 10.30 where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes.

March's concert is a collection of music by women composers to mark International Women's Day (8th March). The programme includes the Phantasy Trio by Irish composer Joan Trimble, and works by Rosalind Ellicott, Elfrida Andrée, Adela Maddison, Dora Pejacevic and Clara Schumann.

Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by donation, with a retiring collection. An RVSP via www.trioparadis.com is much appreciated but not essential.
