Trio Paradis play a café concert (usually!) on the first Monday morning of each month at St Thomas' Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It's £3.50 for a drink and a cake.

April's theme is Birdsong, with music from a wide variety of eras and styles: Daquin: Cuckoo, McVie's Songbird, Casals' haunting arrangement of the Catalan folk song, Song of the Birds, and trios with a springtime theme…

Concerts last c45m, and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. You might like to bring a cushion for the pew.
