Medieval Banquet Night

• Saturday 11th February
• 7pm

 Imagine crossing the drawbridge to enter a medieval Palace where a roaring log fire and welcome goblet of hot spiced cider or apple juice awaits you.

Your medieval host will welcome you with a short insight into the history of the Palace before you dine on a delicious, three course medieval-themed banquet served in the atmospheric candlelit and vaulted Undercroft of The Bishop's Palace in Wells.

Throughout the Medieval Banquet Night, a medieval host/storyteller will provide entertainment and medieval music will also be performed throughout your meal. You'll also have the opportunity to engage in a demonstration and history of medieval instruments and, if you're inspired to unleash your inner Lord or Lady, we encourage costume dress and medieval costumes for the event (some costumes will also be provided which can be tried on for photo opportunities).
