UNTIL Saturday 22nd October

Come and enjoy this

A special Wells Lantern Parade is taking place this Saturday 22nd October, starting at 6.30pm inside Wells Cathedral. It will be led by Bath band, Jamma de Samba and will process out of the Cathedral around Cathedral Green through the Penniless Porch and Bishop's Eye to the Bishop's Palace, around the croquet lawn and back to the market place where it will finish. The theme this year is the Natural World to complement Luke Jerram's Gaia installation hanging in the Cathedral.

If it's raining, priority entry will be given to those people who have made lanterns.

The Cathedral will be open to the public until 8.30pm to see Gaia after the lantern parade. Entry by donation.
