The East Somerset Railway is looking forward to welcoming potential volunteers to its autumn VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT DAY on 21st September at 10.30am.

A wide range of volunteering roles are available from train preparation, Guards, platform staff, Ticket Office/Shop Assistants and crossing keepers, to footplate crew, Engine Shed and workshop helpers, carriage restoration, site management and 'permanent way' (railway line and environs) gang. Flexible time commitments and full training provided.

The ESR is a highly successful heritage steam railway providing train rides, dining experiences and special events from the end of March to the end of October.
