Wells climate event to focus on homes and gardens
By Laura Linham 27th Mar 2026
People in Wells who want to grow their own food and learn more about climate change are being invited to an Act To Adapt event at Wells Town Hall.
The session, called Homes and Gardens, will take place on Monday, 30 March from 7pm to 8.30pm. It is being promoted by Sustainable Wells as part of its Act To Adapt programme.
Organisers say the event will look at future-proofing homes for a wetter climate and encouraging people to start growing their own food.
That puts the focus on practical steps people can take at home.
The event is aimed at anyone interested in how changing weather patterns could affect everyday life, as well as those wanting to make better use of gardens and outdoor space to produce food.
It will be held at Wells Town Hall and is expected to bring together residents with an interest in local climate action and greener living.
