Tai Chi for Wellbeing Classes at The Bishop's Palace
The Bishop's Palace, Wells
20 Jan 2022
UNTIL Thursday 20 January

The Bishop's Palace will continue hosting the popular weekly Tai Chi for Wellbeing classes in The Palace gardens in 2022 (Thursdays, 11am-12pm).
Led by local practitioner John Beasley, who has over 20 years of Tai Chi experience, the sessions are suitable for all, regardless of age or ability, and run every Thursday from 11am to 12pm.
Tai Chi is a non-competitive martial art, known for both its defensive techniques and its health benefits. As an exercise, it comprises gentle physical exercise and stretching with mindfulness.
Booking is not required but attendees will require a valid entrance ticket to the Palace (including The People's Ticket or Membership). There is no additional cost for the sessions although an optional £5 donation in aid of St Margaret's Hospice can be made. In 2021, a total of over £1000 was raised from the classes for the charity which has been at the heart of Somerset's community of 40 years, delivering high quality, responsive and compassionate care to patients and their families facing a life-limiting illness.
So, take control of your wellbeing this Spring and join John and others in the beautiful surroundings of The Bishop's Palace Gardens (or occasionally inside in bad weather).
