Trio Paradis play a café concert on the first Monday morning of each month at St Thomas' Church: informal feel-good music events with a pop-up café half an hour open before the concert where you can meet friends and make new ones over tea/coffee and home-made cakes, and enjoy live music. It's c£3.50 for a drink and a cake.

May's Café Concert programme is a collection of beautiful music by English composers of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, among them Charles Villiers Stanford, Rebecca Clark, Ernest Austin and Dora Bright, a composer associated with Babington House, Somerset.

Concerts last c45m and entrance - or rather, exit! - is by pay-what-you-feel donation, with a retiring collection. All ages welcome, including children. You might like to bring a cushion for the pew.
