Wells and Mendip Astronomers' member Simon Toogood will explain his recent research into the magnetosphere of Mercury which analysed data from the Messenger space mission to uncover new insights into the closest planet to our sun.

Having been a member of WMA since he was 11 (10 years ago), Simon is now about to start a PhD at Leicester university.
