Location: Old Bristol Road, Upper Milton, Wells.
The Fire Service were called to a report of a road traffic collision at the above location. Both fire appliances from Wells and the rescue tender from Glastonbury were mobilised to this incident.
The crew got to work extinguishing the fire with the use of 1 hose reel jet. Once all vehicles were made safe this incident was handed over to the police and the crew returned home station.

SOMERSET'S first food trail event, Taste the Landscape, will take place this July, with dozens of food producers opening their doors to the public.
Participants range from goat herders, cider makers and dairy farmers to cheesemakers, pubs, vineyards, artisan bakers and vegetable growers.

TWO women will be bringing sauerkraut to the masses at this year's Wells Food Festival when they set their sights on a new Guinness World Record.
The world record challenge will see hundreds of helpers chopping up 350 cabbages, which will be salted with 7kg of salt, tamped down into large vats, and left to bacterially ferment for at least a week.
THE Bishop's Palace in Wells will host a stunning new sculpture trail in the gardens surrounding the medieval buildings this autumn.
Human Nature will celebrate the qualities that characterise and define humankind.
THE ambitious Wells in Mosaic project has launched its website.
"We are delighted to have supported the project since its inception," said Livvy.

A NEW couple have taken over the running of Strangers With Coffee in St Cuthbert Street, Wells.
