Graduates are leaving Wells for work elsewhere. What can we do to keep this talent here?

A study by a student recruitment agency published in the Wells Nub News told that only 30 per cent of graduates who sat their GCSEs in Wells remained in the area after finishing university.

Why is it happening?

Is life in Wells too dull for 20-somethings?

Are the jobs they want not available in Wells?

Are local employers not doing enough to attract young graduates?

These questions will be raised at a public meeting organised by Wells Civic Society in Wells Museum at 7pm on Wednesday 12th March.

Speakers will include Charlie Bigham and Wells Nub News editor Laura Linham by video.
