Wells Pride parade to bring colour to city centre

Wells Pride will return on Saturday, 8 August, bringing colour, music and celebration to the city centre.
The parade will first assemble on Cathedral Green at 12 pm before setting off along Sadler Street at 12.15 pm. It will then head down High Street and make its way towards the bandstand on the Recreation Ground, where the main event will continue.
Organisers say there will be a mixture of dancing, singing, speeches and other entertainment. Further details of the full line-up had not been confirmed at the time of publication.
Wells Pride was started in 2024 and was created as an annual event to embrace diversity and promote inclusion and LGBTQ+ rights in the city.
