Wells Police Call on Residents and Parents to Tackle Youth-Related Anti-Social Behaviour in the City.

The Wells Neighbourhood Policing Team has raised concerns over the increasing number of reports regarding anti-social behaviour (ASB) within the city, particularly those related to groups of youths.

These reports range from low-level ASB to criminal damage and public disorder.

The Wells NPT is urging residents to report any instances of Antisocial Behaviour on 101/999 depending on the severity of the situation

Additionally, residents can always report incidents online via the Wells NPT website.

Various intervention methods, including ASB warning letters to parents, Choice & Consequence courses, and Community Resolutions, are being employed by the police team to tackle the issue. The police urge residents to report any anti-social behaviour by dialling 101/999 in case of an emergency or online via https://orlo.uk/q9d9q.

The Wells Neighbourhood Policing Team also appeals to the parents of Wells to take responsibility for their children's behaviour when in public places, emphasising that certain actions can have lasting impacts on residents, local businesses, and vulnerable people within the community.

The police team further encourages parents to speak with their children about the issue.

If you have concerns regarding your child's behaviour or problems in your area, the Wells NPT is always available to assist. Contact them at https://orlo.uk/jgFaM.
