A Wells business has applied for a premises licence covering alcohol sales, live music and film screenings at Underwood Business Park.

Soul Sessions Ltd is seeking the grant of a premises licence for Unit 1 and 2, Underwood Business Park, Wookey Hole Road, Wells, BA5 1AF. According to the public notice, the application would allow the sale of alcohol on and off the premises, indoor sports, live music indoors and outdoors, and recorded music indoors and outdoors.

The application says those activities would take place from 5 pm to 10 pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays, 5 pm to 11 pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 12 noon to 8 pm on Sundays.

It also includes permission to exhibit films on Fridays and Saturdays from 5 pm to 10 pm.

Anyone wishing to make a representation about the application must do so in writing by Tuesday, 29 April 2026, and send it to Somerset Council Licensing, Bridgwater House, King Square, Bridgwater, TA6 3AR.

A copy of the application is available through Somerset Council's recent licence applications page. The notice also states that a copy can be viewed at the Licensing Unit at Bridgwater House from Monday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm, and Friday, 9 am to 4.30 pm, excluding bank holidays.
