Easrlier today we published an appeal for a Ukrainian mother and daughter who were urgently seeking accommodation or a host family in Wells.

They have now been settled for the weekend. Thank you to everyone who helped.

Wells Community Network has organised for Tuesday 10th May 6.30pm by Zoom with three people who have been supporting Ukrainians and hosts through the process. The purpose of meeting is to find out what support we could be giving and to coordinate with hosts and their families more efficiently.

A second meeting has been organised for Wednesday 11th May 6.30pm to go through the database and contact groups of people who have offered specific services.

If you have not already done so please help WCN by completing the database form now.

A new public Facebook group has also been created to share useful information and support for Ukrainians and their hosts in the Wells area.
