A dominant display from Wells City on Saturday saw them thump Bristol Telephones 5-1 away from home and, in truth, the scoreline could have been more.
Wells took the lead in the first minutes when Harry Foster did well to control a long ball, and with his second touch he fed Harvey Hadrill who, from the half way line, drove forward and slotted the ball into the far right corner from 18 yards.
Only a minute later, a great Dale Hunt throughball released Foster but the keeper did well to smother.
After 14 minutes a cross field ball found the Telephones number 8 who controlled and rifled a half volley a couple yards wide of the top left corner.
Wells got their second on 16 minutes when a wonderful 40 yard diagonal cross from Tom Hill beat the centre half and Foster was there to volley home into the bottom corner.
On 18 minutes a deep Craig Herrod cross was met by Hadrill, the ball dropped to Foster but he was adjudged offside.
After 21 minutes a wide free kick from Telephones number 7 evaded everyone and crashed against the bar and Ross Padfield hooked clear.
On the stroke of half time a soft free kick awarded led to the Telephones number 11 bringing a brilliant save out of Harley Wilkinson, leaving the score 0-2 at half time.
After 53 minutes a Herrod corner was met by Padfield but the keeper somehow tipped the ball over the bar.
The resulting corner saw Ben Robertson connect with Herrod's corner and this time it was cleared off the line.
On 58 minutes a ball into the Telephones box was half cleared and Hill lets fly from 25 yards which the keeper held brilliantly.
After 62 minutes Hill played Foster down the line and, with loads still to do, Foster cut inside and with his weaker left foot he guided a delightful 25 yard finish into the far bottom left corner.
A Telephones corner on 64 minutes was almost toe poked home but Wilkinson managed to save low to his left.
Bristol Telephones got their goal on 72 minutes when Steve Sokol won the ball in the box but the referee gave a penalty and number 14 dispatched it into the bottom left corner.
Wells scored again after 75 minutes when Tom Hill whipped in a sumptuous cross that Herrod met on the full and planted it into the bottom right corner.
Three minutes later, a Sokol break saw him feed Hadrill but he sliced wide from 15 yards.
They scored their fifth goal on 79 minutes when a Foster cross from the right found Sokol at the back post and he headed back across goal to give Wells a 5-1 lead.
Up next Wells City face Almondsbury away on Tuesday December 10.
