Residents of Wells are invited to meet local police officers at a series of drop-in sessions at Wells Town Hall.

The Wells neighbourhood policing team will host monthly "beat surgeries" from 10 am to 2 pm at the Market Place venue.

The sessions give residents the chance to raise concerns, ask questions and speak directly with officers about local issues.

Upcoming dates confirmed are:

  • Saturday, 2 May 2026
  • Saturday, 30 May 2026
  • Saturday, 27 June 2026
  • Saturday, 25 July 2026
  • Saturday, 22 August 2026
  • Saturday, 19 September 2026
  • Saturday, 17 October 2026

The sessions follow an earlier drop-in held on Saturday, 4 April.

They will take place at Wells Town Hall, Market Place, Wells, BA5 2RB.

Avon and Somerset Police say the events are open to anyone who wants to speak to the neighbourhood team without needing an appointment.

The drop-ins form part of ongoing efforts to maintain a visible police presence in the city centre and strengthen links with the community.
