East 17 are set to headline Party at the Palace in Wells this summer as early bird tickets go on sale for the three-day event at the Bishop's Palace.

The weekend festival will run from Friday, 3 July to Sunday, 5 July, bringing live music, family entertainment and throwback favourites to one of the city's best-known landmarks.

Saturday is being billed as the standout night, with East 17 leading the line-up for a 90s headline event under the summer sky. They will be joined by Dave Finnegan's Commitments and Sonia for a full afternoon and evening of live music from 3pm to 10.30pm, with early bird tickets from £30.

Friday opens with the Country Superstars Theatre Tour, celebrating Dolly Parton and other country favourites with a live band and West End performers. That event runs from 7pm to 10.30pm, with early bird tickets from £20.

Sunday shifts to a more family-focused finish, with a Kids Party at the Palace featuring Pop Queens Live. Organisers say the event will bring pop hits, dancing and family fun from 4pm to 7pm, with early bird tickets from £10.

The Bishop's Palace says only a limited number of early bird tickets are available.

For Wells, the big pull is clear — a full summer weekend of music in a historic setting, with East 17 top of the bill on Saturday night.
