Step back in time this 15th June as the Warwick Warriors host the 'Tournament of the Knights' in Wells.

This full-day event, running from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, promises to transport attendees to the days of old with displays of archery, sword fighting, and more.

The day will kick off at 10 am where attendees can meet the knights and their squires as they gear up for the day's battles.

By 11 am, the air will be filled with the tension of the archery competition, as squires strive to impress their knights.

Following this, at noon, spectators can join Sir Joseph as he dons his full armour, piece by piece, in a fascinating demonstration on the dressing of a knight.

The excitement escalates at 1 pm with sword fighting displays that will see knights go head-to-head in a test of skill and prowess.

The battles intensify by 2:30 pm with the 'Battle of the Barriers' and the 'Crest Melee,' where knights will aim to strike decisive blows and snatch crests from their opponents in a gripping contest of strength and agility.

The highlight of the day, the Grand Melee, will unfold at 3:30 pm.

This climactic event will feature all knights and their squires in a fierce battle to determine the ultimate champion of the tournament.

This event is accessible with any standard admission ticket to Bishop's Palace, including membership, which allows for unlimited access throughout the year.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the venue.
