More than 80 people received a surprise Easter treat thanks to The Lawrence Centre in Wells.

The daffodils and home-made ginger cake were delivered over two days at the bank holiday weekend by the centre's manager Maggie Charlesworth and her daughter Georgina.

"Hopefully we brought some good cheer over Easter," said Maggie. "We are keeping in touch with everyone who comes to the centre in normal times with regular deliveries of cake and offers of any help they may need at this difficult time.

"They are all missing coming to The Lawrence Centre and looking forward to returning when we can."
