Wookey Hole, Somerset’s iconic home of Halloween, is gearing up for a week-long Halloween Spectacular from 21st to 29th October, promising magic, entertainment, and spooky fun for all ages.

This year’s event features a jam-packed line-up of attractions, all included in the ticket price. Aspiring young witches and wizards can join interactive Magic & Mayhem lessons to learn the secrets of the mystical arts. Graduates will receive a special certificate to prove their magical prowess.

The Wookey Hole Circus will take centre stage with a new show inspired by Wednesday Addams, blending acrobatics with a dash of gothic charm. Visitors are encouraged to dress to impress for the daily fancy dress competitions, with winners taking home an annual family membership.

Ellen Ramsay, spokesperson for the Cottle Family Trust and part-time Witch of Wookey, said: “This year’s Halloween event is shaping up to be our best yet! There’s something for everyone, and we can’t wait for visitors to see what’s in store.”

Adventurous guests can follow the Giant Pumpkin Trail through the grounds, complete with hidden pumpkins and a Halloween treat at the end. The Spooky Golf course will also be in full swing, with a ghoulish makeover filled with pumpkins and monsters.

No Halloween event would be complete without a pumpkin patch, and Wookey Hole has over 600 pumpkins to explore, making it the perfect backdrop for family photos.

Tickets start at £17.95 for children, £22.45 for adults, and £21.45 for seniors. With Halloween fast approaching, visitors are urged to book early to secure their spot.
