Wells Rotary is excited to bring back the popular Santa Fun Run in Wells Market Place on Sunday, 8 December, from 10 am to 2 pm, promising a day full of Christmas cheer and activities for all ages.

This family-friendly event features a safe 2.5k or 5k fun run/walk through Bishop's Fields and woodland, where children can hunt for six wooden reindeer, each carrying a letter. Finding all letters and solving the festive puzzle will earn young participants a prize.

Participants can pre-book online to receive a dated medal or sign up on the day for an undated medal, with all proceeds supporting Winston's Wish charity. There will be plenty to enjoy in the Market Place, including festive stalls, food and drink vendors, and Christmas trees and mistletoe available for purchase, with an option to arrange post-Christmas tree collection. Snow is guaranteed, adding a touch of winter magic to the day!

Children's activities include free gingerbread decorating, a visit to Santa's Grotto (£5 entry), a colouring competition with templates sent to local schools, and a Hook a Christmas Duck game. Entertainment will be provided by local school choirs singing Christmas carols.

For updates and details on pre-booking, visit the Santa Fun Run Wells Facebook page or the Wells Rotary website.
