A defibrillator has been donated to Wells Town Hall in memory of the late Cllr Tony Robbins. The equipment was given by Somerset councillor Cllr Hobbs and his team as a tribute to the former councillor.
The Mayor accepted the donation on behalf of Wells Town Hall and Wells City Council, alongside Cllr Georgie Robbins, who represented her family.
Wells City Council described the donation as a thoughtful and meaningful gift which would provide a lasting benefit to the local community.
The Mayor said: "A mammoth thank you to Cllr Hobbs and his team for making this possible, and our sincere thanks on behalf of Wells Town Hall."
The council said the defibrillator was a fitting tribute to Tony and thanked those involved in making the donation possible.
