A new youth club for young people living in Wells and the surrounding areas will be opening its doors on Monday, October 7 at the Connect Centre.

The club, run by the YMCA Brunel Group and funded by Wells City Council, will meet every Monday from 6pm to 8pm during term times, offering a variety of activities.

Abigail David, Wells Youth Club's Team Leader, said: "We work with anyone aged between ten and 19, with provisions up to 25 for those with Special Educational Needs. Our goal is to create safe spaces where every voice is heard and valued."

The first session is free for new members, and subsequent sessions will cost £1. Parents or carers must complete a consent form before young people can join. For more information or to sign up, email Abigail at [email protected].
