Wells has experienced a rise in anti-social behaviour among youths, including climbing onto the roofs of shops in the city centre, according to local police.

These incidents have also led to reports of criminal damage.

Police are urging parents and guardians to be aware of their children's whereabouts and to discuss the dangers associated with such activities.

A police spokesperson said, "We are deeply concerned about the recent rise in youths climbing onto the roofs of buildings in Wells. Not only is this behaviour incredibly dangerous, but it also results in significant criminal damage. We urge parents to talk to their children about the serious risks involved."

If you see any suspicious activity, please call 101 or 999, depending on the emergency.
