Healthwatch Somerset is looking for people aged 16-25 to get involved in its latest project, a focus group on mental health support services.

The project aims to explore whether young people know about the mental support available to them, and how to access it.

The organisation is looking for young volunteers who would be willing to take part in focus groups, help create marketing materials and talk to their peers about the project.

Healthwatch Somerset is the consumer champion for health and social care in the county. Their sole purpose is to understand the needs, experiences and concerns of people who use health and social care services and to ensure their voices are heard and responded to.

The service will provide volunteers with reimbursement of cost and extra support. This focus group programme will start from January 31, and will continue for three months.
