Wells is brimming with exciting events this weekend, promising a great time for all. Here's a roundup of what's happening:

Somerstock Music Festival

Somerstock is almost here, and tickets are selling fast! This year's headliner is the legendary jazz-funk band Shakatak, set to electrify the stage on Saturday, 13th July. The festival kicks off on Friday night with performances by The Charlie Miller Band, Twisted Vinyl, and Florence & The Bare Souls. With over ten more live acts across two outdoor stages and a big top marquee, Somerstock is the music festival you can't afford to miss.

Wells Beer Fest

Join the fun at the Wells Beer Fest at The Sheep & Penguin on Friday 12th and Saturday 13th July. Enjoy fantastic brews, live music, street food, and good vibes. Priddy Folk Festival

The Priddy Folk Festival, held from 12th to 14th July, is set across eight stages around the beautiful village of Priddy. Known as the friendliest folk festival in the UK, it features a brilliant range of internationally renowned bands, dance sides, and workshops. Enjoy performances by Breabach, Gnoss, The Haar, and many more. There are also free activities like dance demonstrations, maypole dancing, and shanty singing. New Amen Corner - Back to the 80s

Take a trip back to the 80s with New Amen Corner's "Bringing on Back the 80s" at Cedars Hall on Friday 12th July. Still the Smiths

Festa Italiana at Palace Farm

Experience Italian culture and heritage at the Romulus & Remus Festa Italiana on Sunday, 14th July at Palace Farm in Wells. Enjoy performances by local tenor Tim Pitman, the Lui, Mimmo and John Trio, saxophonist Tim Fulker, Marvin Muoneké, and The Pashy Pops.
