As residents and staff at Crandon Springs Care Home in Wells, Somerset, welcomed in the new year, they reflected on what a lovely festive season they've had and what a lot they have to look forward to in 2026.

Across the festive season there were so many wonderful moments to enjoy, from making festive floral decorations with a professional florist, to pamper sessions, many musical performances, carol singing, cake making, gift giving, and sherry drinking!

One highlight was a beautiful Christmas Carol concert performed by Wells Cathedral Preparatory School pupils (year 5 and 6), who filled the care home with their angelic voices and festive cheer. As did the even smaller children from Rockers and Rollers nursery, who joined residents for a Christmas sing-along, with residents taking delight in giving festive treats to the children. And for their New Year celebration, residents and family wrapped up 2025 by enjoying a party full of fizz, singing and dancing, to tunes ranging from `The Twist` to `Auld Lang Syne`!
