Fire in Agricultural Building at East Water Lane, Priddy, Cheddar

Date: 06.05.2019Time: 11:44Location: East Water Lane, Priddy, CheddarFire appliances from Cheddar and Wells, along with the Water Carrier from Bridgwater were mobilised to a report of a building on fire in the above location.The incident involved a stable building of timber and cement board construction measuring 15 metres x 25 metres. The building suffered 25% fire damage and 75% smoke damage. Fire crews used 4 breathing apparatus, 2 hosereel jets, 2 covering jets and 2 thermal image cameras to check for hotspots.   The cause of the fire was believed to be accidental.
