Road Traffic Collision at Hartlake Straight, Hartlake, Glastonbury

Date: 06.05.2019Time: 15:50Location: Hartlake Straight, Hartlake, GlastonburyFire appliances from Glastonbury and Street were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision at the above location. On arrival at the incident fire crews report a two vehicle road traffic collision with one vehicle on its side in a ditch with 2 persons trapped.  Air ambulance, police and multiple ambulances were in attendance. Fire crews performed a controlled rollover of the vehicle using heavy rescue winch, air bags, a large tirfor winch with ground anchors and specialist hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the side of the vehicle.  Casualties were extricated and left in the hands of ambulance personnel.
