Early bird tickets released for Wells Cathedral cider and cheese festival

Early bird tickets have gone on sale for the first ever Cider and Cheese Festival at Wells Cathedral, giving locals the chance to save up to 20 per cent on entry to one of Somerset's biggest celebrations of its heritage flavours.
The festival will take place on Saturday, 27 September 2025 from 12pm–9pm, filling the historic cathedral and its grounds with live music, Somerset cider and a range of local cheeses.
Early bird tickets are available online now, starting at £15 for adults and £10 for under-18s. The special rate is only available for a limited time, ahead of the general release in July.
A spokesperson for Wells Cathedral said: "We're really looking forward to hosting this special event and sharing some of the best cider and cheese Somerset has to offer.
"Early bird tickets are a great way for people to secure their place and save money too. All proceeds will support the cathedral's conservation work, helping to preserve this historic site for future generations."
