For theatre enthusiasts, "The Tempest" continues its run at the Little Theatre on Chamberlain Street, culminating with a performance this Saturday at 19:30. The production offers a chance to dive into the magical world of Shakespeare, appealing to both aficionados and newcomers alike.

Parents and their children can seize an enriching opportunity at Wells Cathedral School, where "Be a chorister for the day" is scheduled for Saturday from 09:00 to 18:00. The event invites youngsters to experience the life of a chorister and explore the enriching world of music education in a quintessentially British setting.

History buffs can attend the Heritage Open Days 2023: Gallery Preview Tours at the Wells & Mendip Museum. Scheduled for Saturday from 10:00 to 11:00, the tours provide an intimate look at the museum's collections, offering a captivating journey through Wells' rich history.

If you're more intrigued by the skies above than historical artefacts, the Wells & Mendip Astronomers are holding a meeting and observing session on Saturday night. From 20:30 to 22:30 at Ashwick & Oakhill Village Hall, this event promises to be an enlightening experience for all ages.

On Sunday, the Royal Air Forces Association Mid-Somerset Branch is holding a ceremony at St Cuthbert's Church, starting at 11:15. This event offers a moment to reflect and pay respects, welcoming all who wish to participate.

For those looking to wind down the weekend with some music, the White Hart on Sadler Street is hosting 'Sunday sessions' from 16:30 to 19:00, featuring Wade Merritt. If you're seeking some tranquillity to round off your weekend, there's even Evensong in Priddy, starting at 18:00.
