A static caravan in Godney was set on fire last night (Saturday, April 30).

The fire service received a call from a member of the public who could see a caravan on fire at around 6.30pm.

One applicance from Glastonbury, one from Street and a 4X4 vehicle from Wells attended the incident.

Crews confirmed that a static caravan was 90% destroyed by fire and crews extinguished using a compressed air foam jet, a hose reel jet, drag forks and a thermal imaging camera.

Police also attended.
