Wells City Archers (WCA) win bronze in the Howden Grassroots Heroes competition

Wells City Archers (WCA) has won 3rd place in the Howden Grassroots Heroes competition.

The aim of the competition was to recognise the outstanding work of coaches and instructors who play a pivotal role in nurturing talent and fostering success within sports clubs.

Club member Frances Eyre (pictured right) nominated coach Mike Philliskirk (pictured left) for his contribution and hard work helping archers improve their shooting skills.

Mike won £250 for WCA to spend on new equipment.
