In a show of precision and skill, Wells City's junior archers have triumphed in the Somerset Junior Postal Portsmouth League, outscoring all other clubs in Somerset.

The competition, managed by the Somerset County Archery Association, invites clubs from across the county to compete in designated archery rounds throughout the winter, with results submitted remotely to the competition organiser.

This season, the 2023/24 junior team not only clinched the top position in the Portsmouth league—a specific format of archery—but also secured the runner-up spot in the Junior Postal Frostbite League, further proving their capabilities in the field.

The success of the Wells City junior archers highlights the strength and depth of young talent in the local sporting community, promising exciting prospects for future contests.
