Somerset-based active lifestyle and marine communications agency, ADPR, has been awarded the contract to deliver the Youth Adventure Trust's PR activity across the UK with immediate effect.

The Youth Adventure Trust is a charity that has helped young people from Wiltshire and Somerset fulfil their potential, build resilience and lead positive lives in the future since 1992. The outdoor-based programmes from the Youth Adventure Trust enable young people to challenge themselves, experience success, learn to go beyond their expectations and grow in confidence. Through a series of residential camps, day activities, one-to-one support and focused developmental work they can build resilience, and self-esteem and develop social and life skills.

Louise Balaam, Director of Fundraising and Engagement, comments, "2025 is the year of growth for us at the Youth Adventure Trust. We want to be able to support as many young people as possible and to do so, we will be focusing a lot of our efforts on fundraising to help make those additional programmes happen. We have enlisted the help of ADPR who are local to the areas we work in and have a strong background within the charitable and outdoor sectors. Their dynamic and refreshing approach along with their knowledge from working within the industry is what attracted us to working together."

To help the Youth Adventure Trust hit its goals for 2025, ADPR will be adopting a digital-first approach and be supporting with messaging, content, media relations and social media.

Kate O'Sullivan, Joint Managing Director at ADPR, adds, "We are delighted to be working with the Youth Adventure Trust, the work they do is so important to so many young people across the region, and we can't wait to get stuck in to increase their brand awareness even further. As an outdoors communications agency, we know first-hand what an incredible impact the outdoors can have on our well-being, and we feel everyone should have the opportunity to experience that."

ADPR celebrates its 34th anniversary this year and has a diverse range of clients from the outdoor, charity and marine sectors. For more information, please visit: www.adpr.co.uk
