WOWFest welcomes international youth and student orchestras, choirs and bands to England's smallest city for an intense weekend of making music, forming friendships and falling in love with the wonder of Wells.

Somerset Food Trail

The Somerset Food Trail is an 'open farm' and farm-to-fork showcase that puts the spotlight on Somerset's smaller-scale, nature-friendly farmers and artisan producers in all their fascinating diversity, giving visitors a better understanding of where food comes from and the many benefits of buying local. There are 19 venues in and around Wells taking part, as well as dozens more across the county.

In partnership with Project Factory CIC, Opera Brava, Britain's leading outdoor touring opera company, is The Barber of Seville to the beautiful grounds of the Bishop's Palace.

Drag night with Miss Jam Tart

The Globe

Get ready for an utterly fabulous night of entertainment as Miss Jam Tart struts her stuff. Money raised will be donated to the Priest Row Defibrillator Fund.

Nifty & Thrifty

Connect Centre

Nifty & Thrifty is a collaboration between Sustainable WellsWells Goes Green and the Somerset Food Trail. It's a community celebration based around growing a low carbon, low waste and low consuming home and community, with a special focus on food, and it will be launched on Saturday with a day of activities, information and fun.
