Wells City Council has bid farewell to Town Clerk Steve Luck, who officially retired on 31 May after 28 years of service to the city.

Steve held a variety of roles over the years—from Cemetery Manager to Finance Officer—before becoming Town Clerk.

To mark his retirement, a celebration was held in the Town Hall Ballroom on Saturday, where Steve was joined by friends, family, and colleagues.

The Mayor, Councillor Louis Agabani, thanked Steve on behalf of the council, praising his long-standing commitment to the city.

The council wished him all the best for a long and happy retirement.
