Wells roadworks for week commencing November 11

The night-time temporary traffic lights at the junction of the A371 and the B3139 at Dulcote are due to be removed by Wednesday morning (November 13) in time for the carnival closure of the Wells Relief Road.

The multi-way lights are in place to enable safety barrier work to take place on the road into Dulcote and on the relief road.

Other roadworks in Wells this week include:

The works by BT on Portway are scheduled to be completed on Tuesday November 12.

Wednesday should see the completion of Western Power Distribution's works on a new supply in Woodbury Avenue.

The work to lay a new service by Wales and West Utilities in Southover should be completed on Friday November 15.

Finally, the scaffolding should be removed from around the Mermaid Inn on Friday.
