Wells police are appealing for the public's help to identify a woman in connection with a theft at Kudos nightclub on Priory Road.

The incident occurred between 1.30am and 3am on Tuesday, 18 April, involving the theft of a black handbag containing cash, bank cards, ID, perfume, and makeup.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured during the incident. However, the theft of personal belongings has led to a call for public vigilance and support.

The suspect is described as a white female, aged between 20 and 35, with blond shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing light-coloured jeans and a black top. The police believe someone might recognise her from this description or have relevant information regarding the incident.

Members of the community who have information or can help identify the woman are urged to contact the police by calling 101 and quoting the reference number 5223089329. Alternatively, individuals can provide information through the police's online appeals form.

For those who wish to remain anonymous, there is an option to contact Crimestoppers, an independent charity. Information can be submitted anonymously either by calling 0800 555 111 or via their Anonymous Online Form. When using Crimestoppers, personal details are not required, and the information provided cannot be traced or recorded. Additionally, individuals will not be required to go to court or speak directly to the police.
