Wells is getting the full panto treatment this Christmas as Sleeping Beauty storms the stage at Wells Little Theatre from Saturday, 13 December to Saturday, 20 December 2025.

The festive favourite is packed with toe-tapping tunes, outrageous costumes and all the laughs you'd expect from a proper Christmas panto. Director Ken Edmonds leads a local dream team with Nick Barlow as Musical Director and Zoe Davis handling choreography.

Elisha Webster takes the title role of Princess Bella, with Rebecca Perdrix as the dashing Prince Percy. Crowd favourite Tom Creswick returns as Nick-a-bocker Noodle, joined by Kate Lynch as the cheesy Fairy Gorgonzola and Edmonds himself in full frock as Dame Nanny Noodle.

There are eight performances across the week:

• Saturday, 13 December – 2:30 pm
• Sunday, 14 December – 2:30 pm
• Tuesday, 16 December to Friday, 19 December – 7:30 pm
• Saturday, 20 December – 2:30 pm and 7:30 pm

The show is set to bring magic, mayhem and plenty of festive cheer to Chamberlain Street — a must-see for families across Somerset.
