A Wells nursery has been praised by Ofsted inspectors after being rated 'Good' in all areas following its latest inspection.

Rockers & Rollers Day Nursery, which cares for up to 76 children aged 0 to 4, received the grade after a visit on 23 July. The report says children are happy and safe at the setting, and that staff are "conscientious and kind", with parents describing them as "like extended family".

Inspectors highlighted the nursery's wide range of activities, including science experiments, imaginative play and local wildlife projects. Children also take part in events such as Wells in Bloom and visit nearby care homes, which helps develop social awareness and community links.

The report adds that while staff maintain children's interest well overall, some routines and transitions could be managed more consistently.

In a statement, the nursery said: "We are so proud of our staff and children on their achievement during our recent Ofsted inspection. Rockers and Rollers is a family, and we feel that the report reflects what a true day in the life of Rockers is like for the children."

The team also thanked parents for their ongoing support and said they were hopeful that future Ofsted changes would place greater focus on staff wellbeing.
