This is a novel take on a bake - with a junior baking competition for youngsters in Wells.
Any keen baker up to aged 15 can enter, all they need to do is pay £5 to the charity Marie Curie.
The charity bake off is being organised by cake maker extraordinaire Tina Blackwill.
In return for a donation, all the baker needs to do is send four photos of the cake being made ( one should be the final masterpiece !! ) and a short video explaining what they are making and why - although Tina said this is not essential.
The theme can be either daffodils or Wells, with entries by the end of May.
The prize will be a pile of chocolate and goodies.
Tina said: " I will be judging the cakes as I am a former award winning cake artist , specialising in wedding cakes. Obviously the whole competition is virtual so no contact is needed , it's just a shame I won't be able to taste them.
" Although we are all in lockdown the Marie Curie nurses are still going into people's homes looking after terminally ill patients , but all of the fundraising has stopped due to the virus . Marie Curie supported my mum and dad which is why I fund raise for them.
" I am hoping to see colour, creativity , artistic flair and beautiful cakes."
