Wells jobs: warehouse boots, care shifts and pet food production

By Laura Linham   17th Oct 2025

Wells offers diverse local job opportunities, from care roles to warehouse and pet food positions.
Wells offers diverse local job opportunities, from care roles to warehouse and pet food positions.

It's a care-heavy line-up in Wells at the moment, but that doesn't mean you're stuck wiping tables unless you want to be. Whether you're night shift inclined, mechanically minded, or just looking to put in a solid day's work without commuting to Bristol, there's something going.

Here's your latest trawl of local roles.

First up: care jobs, and lots of them. If you've got patience, kindness, and can find your way around a hoist, you're in luck.

There's a Housekeeping Assistant role keeping care-home rooms safe and spotless, and multiple listings for Care Assistants (bank contract), Senior Carers, and Night Carers. Several are also offered under annual bank contracts, for those who like a bit more security with their rota.

There's also a Regional Senior Care Assistant post that covers a 20-mile patch — ideal if you like a drive and a bit of variety in your day.

Over in recycling, a Warehouse Operative role needs someone who doesn't mind the yard, can follow health and safety, and tell plastic from paper. There's also a Picking Line Operative job for those who like sorting what others get wrong.

Pet food more your vibe? The Shift Process Operator job at James Wellbeloved involves rotating shifts and the fine art of kibble production. There's also a Wells-specific version of the same role, if you're keen to stay very local.

As always, this is just a taste. You can browse the full list or post your own job at wells.nub.news/jobs.
