The Hot Fuzz police car is heading back to Wells this weekend for a return to the city where much of the 2007 comedy was filmed. The vehicle is due to appear at Wells Sunday Market in the Market Place on Sunday, 12 July.

The car, which featured in the Simon Pegg and Nick Frost film, will be on display throughout the day. Organisers are encouraging fans to come along, support the market and take photos with the vehicle.

In a social media post, Hot Fuzz Police Car South West said: "Hot Fuzz Police Car will be appearing at Wells Market this Sunday July, 12 in the Market Place.

"Come and support the Sunday market and get some pictures with the Hot Fuzz police car back in the Market Place.

"It's going to be a hot day so Cornettos at the ready."

Hot Fuzz was largely filmed in and around Wells, which stood in for the fictional town of Sandford. Since its release, the film has remained closely linked with the city, with fans still visiting locations used in the production.

The police car regularly appears at comic conventions, charity events and community celebrations across the South West. Its return to Wells Market Place gives fans another chance to see one of the film's most recognisable props back on familiar ground.
