The reindeers won't be real but Sunday's Family Santa Fun Run/Walk promises to be great fun.

Wells Rotary are putting on this Christmas event based in Wells Market Place from 10am-2pm.

They have come up with a lovely 5k or 2.5k route that you can run and enjoy the views or walk with your family and do the reindeer hunt along the way.

The route starts from the Market Place and is pushchair-friendly, but it could be muddy in places. Six reindeer will be hiding along the route, and each child who finds them will receive a prize.

Everyone entering the fun run/walk will get a Santa hat and on completion a Santa fun run medal.

Adults are £5 and their children are free. All monies raised will go to Winston's Wish, a childhood bereavement charity.

WCN's trishaw will be at the Santa Run to give rides, and there will be stalls in the Market Place offering Christmas items, food, and drink. Children will be able to decorate gingerbread at a table.

The Joyful Spirit choir is coming to sing Christmas carols and registration for the run will start at 9am in the Market Place.
