Residents invited to meet local police and fire crews

Wells Fire Station on Burcott Road will be holding its annual open day on Saturday, 7 September 2024, from 10 am to 4 pm. The event offers residents the chance to meet their local Neighbourhood Policing Team and fire brigade.

Among the activities on offer will be free bike marking through the Bike Register, a national registration scheme designed to help protect cyclists from theft. Anyone wishing to take part just needs an email address to register their bicycle.

The open day is a family-friendly event and provides an opportunity to learn more about the important work carried out by emergency services in Wells.

Wells Fire Station is located at Burcott Road, BA5 2DF. Everyone is welcome to attend.
