In a move to keep cinema accessible to all, Wells Film Centre has announced that it will maintain its ticket prices at a flat rate of £5 for the entirety of 2024.

The decision comes on the heels of a successful trial period which began seven months ago, during the school summer holidays, aimed at encouraging cinema-goers to return to the big screen.

Introducing the reduced ticket price has proven to be a hit among patrons, prompting the Film Centre, located on Princes Road, to extend the offer. However, it's important to note that certain terms and conditions will apply, and the special pricing will not cover Event Cinema or special events.

On the centre's website, it reads: "We are delighted to extend our £5 ticket offer for the rest of 2024."

With this initiative, the Wells Film Centre hopes to enable more people to enjoy a wide range of films throughout the year without the burden of high costs.
